I Do, That's Whoo!

I've been getting so spoiled lately with all the awards that are being passed around, that I thought it would be fun to come up with an award of my own. Martha also has the same idea which she expressed in her comments to Friday's post - I guess it is true: great minds do think alike :)

The Whoo Loves Ya Baby! award:

~ recognizes one fantastic blogger each month
~ comes with no 'rules'
~ does not need to be posted on the recipient's blog (unless they so choose)
~ but, will be posted along my sidebar with a link back to the honouree's blog for that month.

This month's recipient is Francie, who's blog, A North End Journal, is an entertaining and often
thought-provoking read. I love discovering new blogs and only recently stumbled across Francie;
now I find myself eagerly anticipating her next post.

She also has a hilarious Valentine's Day contest running right now,
the 2nd Annual Magic Pig Wand Contest, that there's still time to get in on.
Did you know that Magic Pig Wands take all the calories out of chocolate?!!

  1. Yay! I love this award and how you're handing it out. I think I will do the same; that way I can also feature a new blog each month to my other readers, which will give them an opportunity to discover other great people. I did pick out a name for my award and I'll be working on an image for it this week. So...one is coming soon.

    And congratulations to Francie! I just got back from her blog; it's great! I am now following it.

    1. Hi Martha, That's great!! That's the whole idea behind this award - hopefully some of us discovering a new blog we connect with and that one blogger getting the recognition they deserve.

      I'm looking forward to what you come up with :)

    1. Well a very happy birthday then, hehe - I must be part psychic!!! You are most welcome and deserving :) If you want to carry the award over, (don't feel like you have to) then you simply need to right click on the big owl and save to your downloads folder. Put in whatever caption and title you'd like. Again, congratulations and happy birthday!!

    1. Thanks Vicki, Yes, I think we could use more Kojaks in this world. I actually ended up winning the magic wand, so calories from chocolate are a non-issue for me from now on, lol!!

  8. Gotta love Kojak. I remember when I was young they used to have back to back episodes of Kojak, Barretta, and McCloud. :)
