You know what's nice about having your own blog? You call the shots! I had a post all ready for today - some boring recipe for a Red Lentil and Cauliflower soup that I made on Thursday evening, but then I got on YouTube... and one thing led to another... and now I've decided to declare it Daryl Hall Day - all day!! At 65, he's still way more delicious than my soup could ever hope to be. I even tagged a new label in his honor - moving forward, you'll find him under 'yummy,' lol!!
65? He'll still be needing Groupies - let's go!
ReplyDeleteLol, sounds like a plan :) I had read in your comments on another blog that you recently broke a toe - ouch! I trust you're on the mend.
DeleteYou're right! He is yummy.
ReplyDeleteAnd how nice for him that all of us groupies are still so good-looking, too!
I agree - he's a lucky guy, hehe :)
DeleteHi Jane...Yay!! you have made me totally smile...thanks for this yummy dish!

Hi Victoria, It's the weekend - I think we've earned a treat!
DeleteYup, pretty damn toothsome for 65!
ReplyDeleteTime has been very kind to Daryl :)
DeleteI had no idea he was still kicking around. He's looking pretty good for 65.
ReplyDeleteHe's still very active in the music scene and actually produces a monthly free live performance webcast called 'Live from Daryl's House' shot in his home where he jams with everyone from older artists to new upcoming talent. It's great and very laid back.
DeleteHe makes getting older look less scary :)
You bring us the coolest stuff, that other wise a lot of us would be clueless about. Like me!
ReplyDeleteYeah! loved this post!
ReplyDelete65?? Wow - yummy indeed.
ReplyDeleteHe sounds lovely, but I have never heard of him, that would be expected from me.
ReplyDeleteWow, 65? He looks amazing! Gives me hope that I might be able to still keep it together at that age...LOL... Count me in on the groupies...ha ha ha...
ReplyDeleteLol - I'm glad everyone enjoyed this - I think I have a case of spring fever!
