The solar system that we live within is also only a tiny spec in our galaxy - which also contains billions of other solar systems...
The galaxy that contains our solar system is also only a tiny spec within a fraction of the universe - which also contains billions of other galaxys...
Man - even with the largest and most powerfull optical and radio telescopes of modern time has only been able to view the outer skin of the universe. The equivalent would be like only 2 inches of approx 2 miles...that we know of.
