The National Dish


Both Australia and New Zealand are famous for their meat pies. You see them every where you go. They're the perfect meal-size portion, with a delicious crust thick enough to eat out-of-hand (but pretty messy if you do), and filled with every imaginable combination possible: lamb, steak & potato, bacon & egg. My favourite was the butter chicken, followed by curry chicken.

I saved you a piece... I hope you like butter chicken!

    Our Pies. I know you don't go to the 'Footy' unless you buy a pie :) Glad you liked the pie...personally I don't eat one very often.

    You know how we always see faces in things? You need to read my post for today and tell me if you noticed the same face that I did!
    (And I also see hearts too. Do you notice the heart shaped rock in the middle of your header photo, surrounded by greenery, I think.)

    I love anything pie! Those pies in the display case just make my mouth water.

    Thanks for the saved piece, it is the thought that counts but it didn't have much taste.....hee, hee.

    Stunning header photo. Pies! I love them, so to start I'll have the steak and potato top pie..I'm starving and they look delicious. I don't think one will be enough..
