From Calgary to Toronto Via The North Pole

Have you ever flown a red-eye? If so, it's certainly well named, isn't it! I've travelled through the night from Edmonton to Toronto on a number of occasions and it wasn't pretty :) On Dec 4th, these West Jet employees may have helped to brighten the arduous journey between Calgary and Toronto for 166 weary travellers.

  1. The red-eye is my most frequently travelled flight. I count myself lucky to get a zombie-eyed snarl. This would be much more entertaining.

  2. Hahaha...I loved this! It actually put tears in my eyes...damn but I'm getting more and more sentimental and sensitive as I get older :) I would love to be ambushed by something like this at some point in my own city!

  3. This is one example of why WestJet actually makes a profit vs. the other carriers. This sort of reminded me of Air New Zealand as they appear to have the attitude towards their business and customers.

  9. What a nice gesture for their customers. It is nice to see customers coming first for a change were most airlines have put them on the back burner. *Shells out $25 to be able to bring a suitcase and and another $12 to pick out a seat.*

  11. Oh, that is sweet. Had this been the Atlanta airport, the elves along with Santa would have been crushed by all the crowds trying to get to their flights, or else trying to get in line for Homeland Security.

I loved it! Makes me want to fly with them. (and the gate agent was so cute, she was so excited.)
