My kids are not quite old enough for me to put the heavy boots on and aim it for their butts, but I'm looking forward to an empty nest when it comes. My older daughter who is only 20 is living on her own while studying and working at the same time. She's so focused, so driven and so mature that I don't think she'll be coming back. And all this at such a young age; I'm proud of her. The younger one is only 15, so I'm not sure what will happen. But I hope she turns out to be like her sister because I have no problem with an empty nest! I told my husband that we should downsize when the nest is empty, so there's no room for any boomerangs!<br /><br />Enjoy the empty nest, and the freedom the two of you have.
