Warning:

I have developed a nasty case of tendonitis from using my i-pad too much; I tend to hold it in my right hand for extended periods of time when reading and commenting on blogs. Talk about your first-world problem... !

I've been ignoring the subtle symptoms for months, but can ignore them no longer... I'm in real pain! Once I am all healed up, I plan to sit at my desk and use my main computer most of the time. In the meantime, I'm reading your blogs - just not commenting for a little while - you wouldn't believe how long it took me just to do up this small post!

  1. Hope you feel better soon. I often have trouble with carpal tunnel, and it can be painful so I sympathize. (I used to get bad cases of it back when I was writing. Even just holding a paperback for hours when reading... my poor hands).

  11. I am on the computer almost the entire day, everyday and I know what that is like as I have lots of problems with my mouse hand. One thing that helped me are the metal Chinese Therapy Balls. Usually two come in a box and they have chimes inside. You put them in your hand and rotate them one way and then reverse them. (I have moved on to the acrylic contact juggle balls. I figured I might as well learn a new skill while exercising my hand muscles. I have always loved watching contact jugglers perform.)

    Hope you feel better soon!

  14. Sorry to hear you are kinda laid up with your hand, hope the pain goes away soon.

I've had my mouse hand get sore, feel swollen and stiffen up a few times. Just lay off using it for a few days.

Note to JJ Hubby.....thanks for helping out around the house, after a month or two of doing household chores you will be a pro......
